01 / Our Origin

Inspired by the beauty of rooms that feel collected over time.

Mysahome began with an appreciation for the atmosphere created when traditional pattern, natural material and contemporary living come together. We were drawn to rugs that did not simply look decorative, but gave a room a sense of depth and identity.

Our approach is influenced by vintage interiors, Persian-inspired motifs, traditional textile language and the imperfect beauty found in naturally textured materials. Rather than chasing short-lived trends, we look for designs that can remain relevant as a home changes around them.

Our design philosophy is built around three ideas: character, balance and longevity. Each one influences the patterns, proportions and materials we choose for the collection.

Patterns with a past.

We are inspired by traditional geometric motifs, medallions, borders and layered decorative language. These references give our rugs a sense of history while allowing them to work naturally in contemporary homes.

Rich, never overwhelming.

A statement rug should have presence without making the entire room feel busy. We look for combinations of color, scale and pattern that create visual depth while remaining comfortable to live with.

We start with the material.

Material is at the heart of how a rug feels in a room. Mysahome focuses on natural wool rugs because wool brings a distinctive combination of warmth, texture and visual depth to an interior.

Our collection emphasizes 100% wool designs, allowing the natural character of the fiber to remain part of the finished piece. The surface has a tactile quality that becomes especially noticeable in quiet spaces such as bedrooms, studies and reading areas.

We also favor no-glue construction in our rug collection, keeping the design focused on the textile itself rather than unnecessary adhesive layers.

When we look at a rug, we do not only consider the pattern from a distance. We also consider how its surface interacts with light, furniture and movement throughout the day.

Traditional-inspired borders, layered motifs and carefully balanced color combinations are selected to create designs that can be appreciated both from across a room and up close.

This is especially important with wool. Its natural surface can soften strong furniture lines, add warmth to minimal interiors and bring visual richness to rooms built around neutral materials such as wood, stone and linen.

Our goal is not to make every rug look identical. We want the collection to offer different personalities while maintaining a recognizable Mysahome feeling.
